Planning & Zoning Commission

The Planning & Zoning Commission for the City of McLendon-Chisholm is an advisory board empowered by City Ordinance. The Commission makes recommendations on new and proposed zoning issues, future developments, and review plats presented to the City for approval for current and future land use. Commissioners are appointed by the City Council.

Board of Adjustment

The Board of Adjustment is an action agency which oversees the permitting process by taking appeals from decisions by administrative officials; and authorizes variances when strict application of setback, side yard, area, or height limits would cause individual property owners unnecessary hardship.
